If your three-year insurance discount is coming to an end, you can easily renew online by taking the Advanced Defensive Driving Course. The course is available anytime, on any device, and you can complete it at your own pace.
Can I Get the 15% Insurance Discount Before My Basic Discount Expires?
If you previously completed the Basic Course, you don’t have to wait until your 10% insurance discount expires. After 2½ years, you can take the Refresher Course and increase your insurance discount from 10% to 15%.

How Long Does the Advanced Defensive Driving Discount Last?
The Advanced Course gives you a 15% insurance discount for three years. When it’s time to renew, take the Refresher Course again to renew your 15% discount for another three years.

What If My Delaware Defensive Driving Insurance Discount Has Already Expired?
If your insurance discount has already expired, you may still be able to take the Advanced Defensive Driving Course rather than starting over with the Basic Course.
If it has been less than five years since you completed your previous Delaware Defensive Driving course, you can take the Advanced Course and receive the 15% insurance discount for three years.
