Malfunctioning Traffic Lights In Delaware
In picture above the traffic signal is not operating. There are many drivers who take the position that the 4-way stop sign rules should be used in this situation. However, there are actually “8” traffic lanes in this intersection instead of the “4” lanes when the 4-way rule was initiated. Each of the “4” entrances into the intersection has a right-turn lane and a through lane. In fact, some intersections have even more intersection lanes – see picture below.
